And You Should Too!

It seems like forever ago but it’s only been four weeks since I started my new position at Notificare as a Sales Development Manager. I’ve always been an entrepreneur at heart; prior to joining Notificare I founded and led 2 companies; an e-commerce website focused on selling specialty bicycles and a digital agency.

That’s part of why Notificare was such a great fit for myself. I get to be a part of a small dedicated team where not only I'm learning something new everyday but also I have the chance to grow within the company much faster than I would at a large enterprise.

Fast growth means yes, I have to excel at my primary responsibilities but also, be proactive, able to work independently and always on the lookout for new ways to improve the various aspects of my role- that is, helping brands communicate with their audiences on a more personalised fashion, delivering the right message at the right time.

I’m often the first point of contact with new prospects so excellent communication skills and solid understanding of our mobile marketing platform are a must. I’m also often in contact with customers which has really helped me further understand how our tool creates real value. And by that I mean increased user engagement, retention and higher ROI.

As challenging as it sounds, that’s what motivates me to get up in the morning and go to work everyday. I get to be a part of building something unique from the ground up, with a great team, culture and well; the ever so often Friday beers.
