New shinning features in this month update

Product Update - April 2020

This week we highlight several new features we've added during this month. Many of them are the result of close cooperation and constant feedback with all our power users, which for us are usually the most rewarding releases. To all of them, a big thank you, you really make us better!

Localized Message Stats

It is now possible for you to see each individual language/region stats when creating localized Push, Email or SMS campaigns. This will effectively help you figure out how each language exactly converts, while still letting you see the grand total stats.

Localized Message Stats

This feature is available only for your future campaigns as we can't compute results for past campaigns.

Tracking Opens and Links in Email

We've also added brand new features to our email message composer. It is now possible to disable tracking for your messages. By default, in our Email Designer Composer, we will always track who opens your messages and clicks your links, but this might not always be what you want. For those of you that care about transparency and privacy, it is now possible to disable this default behavior by just toggling the following options:

Tracking Opens and Links in Email

Disabling link tracking is also the only way to make sure the original URLs are used. This can also become handy when you use other 3rd party solutions for Universal Links, which need to be used as-is in your email messages. Additionally, link tracking can also be disabled on a per link basis. If that is the goal, you disable specific links by simply passing a query parameter in your URL:

<a href="http://example.com/?notificareLinkTracking=false">Original URL</a>

..or

<a href="http://example.com/?notificareLinkTracking=FALSE">Original URL</a>

..or

<a href="http://example.com/?notificareLinkTracking=0">Original URL</a>

..or

<a href="http://example.com/?notificareLinkTracking=off">Original URL</a>

..or

<a href="http://example.com/?notificareLinkTracking=OFF">Original URL</a>

..or

<a href="http://example.com/?notificareLinkTracking=no">Original URL</a>

..or

<a href="http://example.com/?notificareLinkTracking=NO">Original URL</a>

This will make sure those links are sent using the original URL instead of being replaced by our proxy tracking links.

Powerful new Automation Connectors

We've also added a couple of new features to automation connectors. The Automation Add-on is by far one of our most successful products, now triggering over one billion interactions on a monthly basis. Because of that, we are revamping how you can improve the quality of these interactions without any extra development. It is now possible for you to create connectors that are triggered every x amount of times by simply providing a number as follows:

Every x times

This works with all types of events, including the custom ones you create your self.

Additionally, now you can also create one single interaction based on specific properties of the data included in your custom events. This means that you no longer need to create individual filters whenever you want to trigger interactions for a specific product or page. This is done by providing the following:

Data Field

These features will, for sure, take your Automation Connectors to a whole new level, bringing you a step closer to meaningful interactions and a better understanding of your audience.

Improvements in Geo-triggers

For location based campaigns, we are also now supporting very similar functionality. You can now easily segment your users or trigger a specific push notification whenever users visit one of your Geo-Zones for the x amount of times. Pretty much like Automation Connectors, the following interaction can now be created for all your geo-triggers:

Every x times

You no longer need to cascade your geo-triggers using a combination of segmentation rules and filters to achieve this same functionality.

Importing data from Google Cloud Storage

Finally, we have also improved our scheduled tasks. We are proud to announce that you can now import data from Google Cloud Storage on a recurrent basis, using our scheduled tasks. This new storage source comes to join the existing solutions for AWS S3, Microsoft's Azure Blob and FTP/SFTP.

Every x times

This is also the first of many improvements planned for the scheduled tasks which we will announce very soon.

Questions?

If you would like to know more and you have any questions, we are available, as always, via our Support Channel.
