This week, I sat down with Mayen Enodien, our first Customer Success manager. She moved to the Netherlands this year to join our team. On top of that, this position is very demanding, as she is the very first line of support we offer our clients.
If you are already a customer, there's a good chance she will get in touch with you and help with any questions you might have. So let's get to know Mayen a little bit better.
When did your interest in Marketing Automation begin?
My interest got piqued when I applied for the role and had a first dive into the platform. Now with almost 4 months into the role, it’s really exciting exploring all the capabilities to support app engagement and enhance user experience.
What are the major challenges you’ll face, in your role, in the next 5 years?
I see a lot of growth in Notificare and trends in the CX space. With this comes added responsibilities in maintaining strong connections and providing the best support to an increased inflow of new customers.
Favourite part about working at Notificare?
On a professional level, I like that no one day is the same. It could start off with a customer call, providing specific input on engagement tactics and strategies, analysing customer data, sharing best practices, or learning new features on the platform. This works for me as it takes me away from a monotonous routine.
Another highlight is the ability to work with customers from different industries and discover new insights into their particular wants and needs. On a personal level, I like the flexible working style and the values that resonate within the company.
How has your career been shaped by working remotely?
Not much to be honest as I had done some remote working even before the pandemic hit. While it does has its pros and cons, it’s helped to give me a better perspective on achieving a work-life balance. Personally, I prefer a hybrid approach where I get the best of both worlds.
What are you most proud of in your career thus far?
My ability to pivot into new domains. I have always worked in client/project management for mid to large client bases but this is my first venture into the tech space, particularly navigating a SaaS platform. It’s an exciting challenge and it’s great being part of an innovative team.
When not working, where can we find you?
I love traveling whenever I get a chance. Otherwise long walks are a great way to enjoy nature, discover “off the beaten trails” and take breaks from the bustle of life. I recently fell in love with hiking when I lived in Switzerland and try to plan trips with friends when I can.
